Job Description

I am looking for an experienced IFA Administrator to join the busy administration team of our client based in Alton. You will take on the responsibility of a bank of clients and ensure that the servicing of these clients meets the high standards expected.This is a complex role and requires someone with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage their own time, prioritise their workload and multi-task. We have internal procedures that must be adhered to.Whilst you will be part of the admin team the successful candidate will be required to work independently and under their own steam.Duties would include: Reporting to Manager Processing letters of authority and updating internal office paperwork Arranging internal fund reviews and reports to be written Running risk questionnaires and ID checks Preparing reports for sending to clients, including preparing enclosures and forms Submitting new business and monitoring for completion Types of business includes General Investment Accounts, ISAs, Bonds, trusts Liaise with other professionals such as accountants, solicitors and product providers Ensure clients and advisers are kept up to date with progress Update and maintain back off database Placing trades with providers Dealing with client requestsincome, withdrawals, change of details, requests for information Processing death claims Booking client meetings and preparing packs for these meetings Providing support to the advisers and ensuring that they have everything required for their appointments. Auditing of client records Using 1st (Avelo) and Volume programmes Any other duties deemed appropriate.Other basic skills required: Time management and organisation Excellent verbal communication skillstelephone and written word Basic understanding of Word, Excel and Outlook Adaptable to changing proceduresFor more information, please contact Tanya at Reed.
