A new permanent opportunity has arisen to work for a fantastic company in ALTON. They recruit for a CREDIT CONTROLLER to join their busy team to start in August. This role is office based and interviews will be taken place face to face. The role involves both credit control and sales ledger with the following responsibilities: Proactive in chasing customers for payment via phone, letter, and emailResolving client issues or queries to ensure the timely collection of all outstanding paymentsLiaising with the sales team regarding any queriesManaging all aspects of multi currency cash receiptsMatching remittances to payment received on bank statement or chequeEnsuring all payments received are allocated to the appropriate invoicesPosting invoices / credit notes on to Exchequer systemDealing with customer credit notesPreparing aged debtors report (month end close routine)Credit card paymentsAttributes and skills required: A proven track record of working in a fast-paced finance / accounts roleExperience using accounting softwareExcellent reconciliation skills and a proven record in reducing outstanding balancesGood communication skills and able to adapt to changeAccurate and methodical thinking as well as being highly organisedExcellent communication skills at all levelsAll round experience of all aspects of accounting would be usefulSalary £25,000ParkingCompany benefitsIf you are interested in this vacancy and you feel that you have the right skill set please apply now and one of our friendly team will contact you to talk through in more detail.
