Job Description

Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst£32,000 - £36,000, + BenefitsAlton, Hampshire Our client is a successful multi-disciplined environmental consultancy that provides specialist, reliable and high quality environmental services across multiple market sectors. Due to an increase of workload acrss the South Coast, our client is lookingto expand their talented team of asbestos specialists and require an enthusiastic and driven Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst to join their asbestos department.The successful Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst will be BOHS P402, P403 & P404/RSPH3 qualified with a minimum of 3 years industry experience and competent in carrying out Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys up to commercial level.Essential Requirements.

  • Hold the BOHS P402/RSPH3 certification with a minimum of 5 years experience
  • Full UK driving licence as daily travel will be required
  • Sound knowledge of HSG: 264 and HSG: 248
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Keen eye for detail and the ability to work well under pressure
  • Good level of IT and numeracy skills
  • Experience in collecting and uploading data using a tablet
  • Have a flexible approach to commuting and completing any out of hours work when required
Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst Duties:
  • Sampling and Surveys of asbestos in domestic, commercial and industrial buildings (Management and Refurbishment/Demolition)
  • Reassessments of asbestos materials in buildings
  • Survey auditing and composition
  • Air monitoring and 4 stage clearance testing
  • Liaising and building relationships with the companys portfolio of clients
  • Ensuring all work carried out is to a high standard and in line with HSG:265 and HSG: 248
