Job Description

Role: Stock Co-ordinator Location: Alperton Salary: £22,000 Hours: Monday to Friday (9.00 am to 5.00 pm) Our client is looking for a bright Stock Co-ordinator to join there vibrant business. Smashing company to work for with bounds of room for growth and all training will be given onsite.Role Description & Responsibilities: Responsibilities will include the following listed below and other duties may be assigned depending on the needs of the business:

  • To create PO for ordering stock via Odoo
  • Close out PO’s
  • Communicate and negotiate with key suppliers with regards to payment terms, discounts and call off orders
  • Updating stock / Odoo for supplier call off orders
  • Updating prices on Odoo as Suppliers increase / change prices or we change suppliers
  • Work closely with Finance & Purchasing Manager so that stock is ordered in line with Sales Pipeline and Production Schedules
  • Receive goods inwards, including unpacking and labelling and adding in to stock
  • Maintain orderly stock locations as well as stock levels for Production use and the R&D parts
  • Work alongside R&D and Product Mangers to update kits & BOMS
  • Assist service engineers on parts
  • Packing, Shipping and sometimes organizing NCR parts to go to suppliers
  • Processing NCR’s
  • Assisting SMS-NA with their requests
  • Organising and shipping free issue parts to the suppliers
  • Organising purchases and collections for Senior Management
  • Working closely with production & Admin on shipping of Instruments.
  • Create kits ready for Production to build
  • Lead interim stocktakes and assist annual stocktakes - working with accountants and auditors
  • To work safely and to promote safe working practices throughout the Stock and Production Area
  • Cover admin duties during admin staff absences - like answer door, take deliveries, prepare marketing shipments
  • Receive inwards of customer samples and pass to lab for processing
  • Assisting QA with the requirements of IS0
  • Administer control measures to ensure mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies are highlighted, addressed and resolved
  • Ensuring late orders are chased and that CRM is updated
  • Required Skills:
  • The position requires a person with a minimum of 4 good GCSE’s including English & Maths
  • Physical fitness
  • Microsoft Office 2010 or later office suites
