A successful heavy engineering manufacturing company has a new vacancy for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join its team in West Lothian on a permanent basis. The site has been manufacturing for over 50 years and will continue to trade through this current climate as it always has done. As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, your responsibilities will include:- Working as part of the team performing maintenance duties in a heavy engineering environment.- Performing electrical installations and PAT testing.- Actioning planned schedules with a view to maximising manufacturing up time.- Dealing with manufacturing breakdowns of plant systems with a view to minimising downtime.- Working Monday to Friday on a 3-shift rotational basis of days, backs, and nights. (6-2,2-10 and 10-6).To be a successful Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will have the following skills and experiences:- Experience in a similar Electrical Maintenance Engineer role with trade qualifications- Experience in the breakdown and preventative maintenance activities within manufacturing /mid to heavy engineering environments.- The ability to read electrical schematic drawings and fault find on equipment.- The ability to work at heights and enclosed spaces with good communication and teamwork skills.- Knowledge of hydraulics, machine tools, and mid voltage distribution systems is beneficial but is not essential.In return, you will receive a starting remuneration that equates to £ £32,859.90 per annum once through probation period (this includes shift allowance). There are also overtime opportunities with excellent rates of pay. Holiday entitlement is 33 days per year (including Statutory days) and there is a profit related discretionary bonus scheme. There is also an employer contribution pension scheme with employer matching your contributions of between 5 and 10% of salary depending on what level you choose.
