Job Description

Grafton Court Wealth Management invites applications for the position of Junior Paraplanner to join our dynamic and rapidly growing team. As a Junior Paraplanner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our evolving landscape. We maintain a flat management structure that encouragesyour active involvement in influencing the direction of change. Your insights and feedback will be crucial in driving continual improvement in processes and service delivery across the company.What We Expect:

  • Adherence to firm processes and procedures, with a proactive approach to proposing areas of improvement.
  • Stay updated on relevant regulatory, product, legislative, and technical requirements.
  • Maintain professional, timely, and courteous client contact within agreed service levels.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance of client files and records with data security, data protection, and record-keeping policies.
  • Commitment to increasing expertise through qualifications with an agreed exam completion timetable.
  • Provide support to advisers in non-client facing tasks related to recommendation preparation and administration.
  • Act as a point of contact for clients, handling queries efficiently and timely.
  • Review client investment portfolios, asset allocations, risk profiles, etc., upon request.
  • Prepare recommendations, conduct relevant research, and draft suitability reports for adviser review.
  • Implement recommendations, including preparing and packaging suitability reports and completing application/proposal forms.
  • Maintain client files by collecting relevant information, ensuring compliance, and organising documentation.
Skills & Experience:Required:
  • Positive cultural attitude at all times.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong IT skills, including the ability to compile reports.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • A clear desire to learn, improve, and a can-do attitude.
Desired:
  • Some financial advice experience and qualifications would be desireable but not essential.
Working Hours and Locations:
  • Full time.
  • Primarily home-based (once fully trained) with occasional travel to Thornbury, Bristol, for training, team meetings, and 1-to-1 sessions. You will need to have a driving license and a car (any travel required is expensed and reimbursed).
