Job Description

Berry Recruitment are currently recruiting for Housekeeping Supervisor to join our prestigious clients logistics and distribution team in Aztec West, Bristol.The Supervisor will be responsible for supervising, supporting and managing a team of housekeeping staff across two sites, to achieve the required standards of cleaning across the site, whilst ensuring operational effectiveness within their area of responsibility.Duties -

  • Ensure all Housekeeping / Cleaning tasks internal and external (entrance, smoking area, walkways) are carried out as detailed on the task allocation lists to an agreed standard as directed by the Area Manager or Regional Manager as applicable.
  • Ensure all consumables for your site are stocked correctly ready for the start of each shift.
  • Check the cleaning consumables stock weekly and order consumables and / or other applicable supplies accordingly in advance making allowances for error.
  • Cover and carry out all relevant housekeeping duties during staff absences.
  • Report staff absences and / or other staff issues to Area Manager in real time.
  • Ensure all tasks are carried out with due regard to the contract specification and all legislation including Health and Safety and Personal Hygiene.
  • Complete cleaning audits to agreed schedule/s and follow through on actions, ensuring timely reporting to Area Manager as required.
Customer Relations:
  • Encourage good relations with all clients on site
  • Promptly deal with any queries or complaints
  • Promote ISS
HSEQ:
  • Ensure safe work practices and procedures are followed on site
  • Use of Personal Protective Clothing and Equipment
  • Read, understand, and work in accordance with the companys HSEQ Policies
  • Complete tasks in accordance with company HSEQ procedures and work instructions
