Job Description

A mix between a Test Engineer and a Service Engineer. You get the perks of travelling to some varied and interesting places around Europe, and sometimes further afield, but youre not constantly on the road and away from home. Sound like the balance yourelooking forIts the type of role where you wont be stuck doing the same thing day in and day out. Youll be working with very high-spec equipment, and each one is custom-made per order. Its complex so could take 1-2 weeks to fully test it, before you then go to installit on-site. On average youll be away for 2-3 days per trip, but a little bit longer if youre abroad: its worth mentioning you should be comfortable with flying!This isnt industrial, so youll be working in a clean and warm environment! The people are brilliant, all really dedicated to their work and pulling in the same direction. They just need an extra person to help with the workload: its been a busy few yearsfor them. Whether you have 2 years of experience or a wealth of experience in engineering, were happy to talk to you!Youll get variety, interesting work, and a nice environment. You could even tag on holiday days to your installation trips: make the most out of the flights you dont have to pay for! All we want in return is someone who can fix things, and enjoys lookingfor solutions to problems!The Candidate: Test & Installation EngineerThe successful candidate will be positive and confident in their ability, and will have most of the following skills and experience:
  • Previous experience in a service engineer / test engineer / lab technician working with electro-mechanical products.
  • Ability to solve problems and think on your feet to look for a solution.
  • Excellent communication.
Youll probably live in or around one of the following: Warrington, Altrincham, Lymm, Northwich, Knutsford, Winsford, Runcorn, Macclesfield
