Job Description

If Assembly Fitting is your area of expertise, then please read on. The role of Assembly Fitter has been created to work as part of our Adlington based team. You will report to our Machine Assembly Manager.A day in the life of an Assembly Fitter

  • Ensure assembly and build quality is of the highest possible standard.
  • Ensure machinery is fully PDId and tested prior to delivery.
  • Attending site for machine commissioning and breakdowns.
  • Being self-disciplined, proactive and hard working.
  • High degree of interpersonal skills and communication skills.
  • Working to deadlines and delivery dates.
  • Ensure production instructions and quality standards are met/exceeded.
  • Escalate any build anomalies to relevant persons.
On-site commissioning and customer trainingAssembly Fitter - Bonus skills desiredTime served with C&G or modern apprenticeship.
  • Principally be responsible for the mechanical assembly of all sub and main assemblies.
  • Be able to read and understand engineering drawings and pneumatic circuits.
  • Manage and keep your electronic parts lists accurate.
  • Have the ability to carry out mechanical surveys, repairs, and servicing of Proseal equipment.
  • General engineering, marking out, drilling and tapping.
  • Carry out work on-site, or off-site as requested and agreed.
