Job Description

Reed Education are seeking a Level 3 teaching assistant to work in an Accrington primary school.The role will be 30 hours per week Monday to Friday - £12.85phThe successful candidate will be:

  • Work with the class teacher in a collaborative way, in meeting the personal, social and curriculum related needs of all pupils
  • Assist with the planning, delivery and evaluation of the curriculum and its differentiation amongst pupils
  • Plan and implement teaching and learning activities to individuals and groups
  • Establish positive, supportive and constructive relationships with pupils, parents, carers and the wider community, and by contributing ideas and strategies
  • Have the skills and experience to work with individuals and groups of children across all Key Stages
  • Be able to undertake supervisory cover for classes as appropriate
  • Share the belief that every child can succeed and will have high expectations of achievement
  • Have a sense of humour, be highly motivated and have lots of energy
  • Bring initiative and creativity<
  • Be able to nurture and inspire, challenge and motivate pupils
  • Hold high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour
  • Be resilient, hardworking and dedicated to helping the school achieve success
