Job Description

LTA / Reed Education are seeking two Level 2 and one Level 1 Teaching Assistants to provide support in a Nursery School (provision is ages 0-4 years) in the Rossendale area. These roles are temporary positions until July 2023 covering 5 days per week. Thereis a potential that some of these opportunities could lead to permanent positions. The School operates from 7.45am till 5pm so all roles would be on a rota basis, with a total of 37 hours per week. The positions are to start throughout ASAP.The candidate must have a Level1,Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).Within this role, your main responsibilities will be:

  • Monitoring targets for future progress
  • Establishing and developing strong relationships with pupils, parents, colleagues, and carers
  • Have a clear understanding of all the needs of all pupils
  • Monitoring pupils progress in reference with the schools practice
