Job Description

HR Administrator - Accrington Head Office - You will provide a commercially focused and professional HR administration service for the company ensuring that all HR legal and statutory requirements are metAbout Bensons for Beds Were Bensons for Beds! The Role - HR Administrator We are currently looking for a HR Administrator to join our Human Resources team.The purpose of the role is to provide a commercially focused and professional administration service for the Company. You will work with the HR Team to provide a timely and accurate administration service, ensuring that all HR legal and statutory obligationsare met.Daily responsibilities include:

  • Complete all administration tasks for the HR team
  • Produce all correspondence for employee employment related changes
  • Produce standard letters for authorisation i.e. probationary meetings, resignation acceptance, reference requests
  • Load new starter details into the HR/Payroll system (Mitrefinch, HR Manager) ensuring accuracy of data
  • Create new HR/Payroll system accounts for new employees
  • Complete all sickness admin and produce AWOL letters where required
  • Respond to correspondence from external agencies including national statistics, DWP, courts, etc.
  • Scanning documentation and filing it electronically
  • Respond to all colleague queries relating to the HR & TMS (Time Management Systems) systems
  • Maintain HR integrity and confidentiality at all times
  • Ensure maintenance of an accurate and up to date filing system - including the maintenance of personnel files
  • Manage the returns of paperwork where appropriate
  • Compile HR MI Reports on a weekly basis such as sickness absence and health & safety reports
  • Carry out any other reasonable ad hoc duties or requests in order to support the HR department
Skills neededTo be successful in this role, we need a strong administrator with a keen interest in HR who can also display the following qualities:
  • Highly organised and efficient, able to meet deadlines with strong time management skills
  • Computer literate, use of Microsoft Office packages (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and in-house HRM systems (Mitrefinch)
  • Knowledge of HR systems and processes
  • CIPD Level 3 preferred but not essential
