Finance Analyst - Accrington (hybrid) - c. £35,000 p.a. + fantastic benefits! The Role - Finance AnalystWe are currently looking for an experienced Finance Analyst to join our team.Working within the Finance Function and reporting into the Commercial Finance Manager, the role holder will be a key support to either the Retail or the Commercial Teams (2 new positions available). The main objective of this role is to help the business improve performance, through an effective combination of business partnering and analytical skills.The role will provide an opportunity to educate the business on performance, guiding actions and influencing decision making through detailed insight and analysis. The successful candidate should be able to draw conclusions and have the confidence to makeinformed recommendations that will enable the business to maximise profit.There will be a key focus on building effective working relationships with operational stakeholders. To work effectively in the role, the Commercial Finance Analyst should work proactively to understand the area of the business that they support and thechallenges and opportunities that exist.Through reviewing key KPIs and understanding drivers of performance, the role holder should provide high quality support through value added insight, helping stakeholders understand what has happened and what we could do differently in the future.In relation to Budgeting and Forecasting, the role holder should ensure that assumptions and growth plans are transparent and understood, with clear plans to deliver.
