Finance ManagerLocation - AccringtonSalary - £50,000 DOE + company and performance bonusSimpson Judge are working with rapidly expanding third-party service provider in the logistics sector, with offices based in Accrington.Role and Responsibilities * Provide leadership, direction, and management of the finance team. * Coordinate routine accounting, invoicing and credit collection in accordance with UK law and Group accounting reporting rules. * Prepare management, annual and departmental accounts, and reports to prescribed deadlines, liaise with auditors, ensure compliance with statutory requirements. * Develop the business through effective financial planning and reporting processes. * Support and contribute to business decisions by providing data, performance analysis and assessing related financial impacts. * Participate in new business processes by identifying and developing opportunities and providing strategic guidance as necessary. * Provide input into investment decisions to support business development. * Partner with other departments to offer support and insight and ensure the numbers are fully understood and accounted for. * Support current and future franchisees with business and financial planning, including training new franchisees on the financial processes and responsibilities. * Comply with relevant tax legislation and deadlines in coordination with external tax consultants. * Ensure robust finance controls are adhered to, with a view to continually review and improve processes and controls to improve efficiency.Skills/ Qualifications* ACCA/CIMA/ACA qual with 3-years post-qual experience as a minimum * Strong ERP system skills* Good business partnering skills
