Job Description

We are the UK’s favourite bed specialist with over 50 years heritage, more than 150 stores nationwide and a dedicated UK factory in Huntingdon.Across our retail stores, manufacturing site and distribution centres, we employ over 1500 individuals who are all part of our vision to become a market leading beds retailer with a strong omnichannel presence.You too, could be part of our vision and a key player in moving our business forward with your natural ability to, engage, inspire and offer advice to our customers as well as motivate and inspire your team to ensure our customers choose the bed that suits them best The Role The Digital Learning Consultant will help drive the learning culture through our LMS and best in class digital learning content Key Responsibilities + Accountabilities

  • Ensuring full implementation and effective management of the LMS to drive training completion across the business
  • Creating and maintaining the LMS map to show all learning pathway provision
  • Managing assignment of learning pathways to ensure all learners complete the relevant learning including compliance
  • Design of required digital learning content agreed with relevant SMEs covering any required subject areas
  • Implementation and Management of all digital learning content both internally and externally provided
  • Ensuring a blended learning approach is applied to all learning pathways
  • Liaise with LMS provider and internal IT department to implement any required system changes
  • Ensure all required learning is tracked and recorded within the LMS for every employee in relation to their job role
  • Production of agreed reports and briefing documents as agreed according to the L&D reporting plan
  • Administration and management of L&D annual learning event calendar through the LMS
  • To exploit gamification and other digital channels for delivering training and encouraging life-long learning
  • To make extensive use of technology enhanced learning to support face to face and distance learning
  • To promote and be an advocate of the use of digital technology as a training vehicle throughout the organisation demonstrating the benefit of point of need training
  • Identify and attend relevant CPD events to ensure awareness of latest learning technology advances
  • Recommend opportunities to improve and enhance learning offer
  • Deliver virtual training as agreed
  • Provide training, coaching and support of wider HR team on administration of the LMS
  • Work with external bodies as required to ensure LMS system serviced contracts are delivering to SLA’s
  • Maintain a full UK driving license, the role will require some UK travel
  • Qualifications Experience Qualifications / Experience
  • CIPD qualified in Learning & Development
  • Experience in Contact Centres, Manufacturing and Logistics
  • Strong Learning and Development background with previous retail experience or similar
  • LMS management experience and expertise
  • Digital learning design experience and expertise
  • eLearning design experience and expertise
  • Excellent knowledge of current e-learning methods
  • Experienced coach / facilitator
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft standard packages
  • Strong experience of design and delivery of training at all levels
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Other Considerations
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Flexible to work throughout the UK
