The Company Overview:Butler Rose are partnered with a multinational company, who due to a recent acquisition are looking to add an Assistant Finance Manager into their team. This company has recently relocated its finance team to the Accrington area so you would be joining a growingsmall and newly created team. This is a great opportunity for a candidate who would like to grow with the role in a fast paced and ever evolving working environment.Your new role as Assistant Finance Manager:Manage the Sales and Purchase Ledgers.Reconcile the banks, loading payments and creating direct debit collections.Ensure all accounts transactions are loaded into the accounting software.Prepare and post month end journals including accruals, prepayments and deferred income.Prepare central sales reports.Preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts.Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.Preparation of the Fixed Asset Register.Processing of staff expenses.Prepare quarterly VAT submissions.Candidate Profile:Accounting and Finance Degree or AAT Qualified.Highly focussed individual whos a team player and willing to take initiative.Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, Vlookups, SUMifs.Minimum of 3 years experience in a finance department.Part Qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA preferred.Your Reward & The Package on Offer:Salary £28,000 - £30,000.Bonus scheme.25 days holiday plus bank holidays.Hybrid working (2 days from home, 3 from office).Who Are Butler RoseButler Rose specialises in the recruitment of accountancy and finance professionals, from transactional and part-qualified appointments through to Group FDs.With offices in Preston, Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Exeter, London, Milton Keynes and Southampton, we work with a range of businesses across the UK from SMEs and local accountancy firms to large Plcs and the Big 4, as well as many public sector and not-for-profitorganisations.
