Technical Support Engineer (Subsea/Oil and Gas)Aberdeen£37,000 to £40,000 DOE + OT or time of in Lieu + 26 days holiday + bank holidays + private medical + contributory pension scheme + bonus + offshore day rateMonday to Friday, 37.5 hours per weekPermanentTechnical Support Engineer sought within a specialised and aggressively growing global manufacturing brand offering bespoke mechanical/electro engineered solutions to the subsea oil and gas, rail sectors.The successful candidate will have experience in oil and gas, whereby you would have acquired certifications in offshore survival, MIST and BOSIET training, expired certifications will also be considered for this position. In addition to your technical abilities,you will also have experience with liaising with clients and customers from any previous background.The core function of a Technical Support Engineer will be to provide onshore and offshore diagnostics, evaluations, and a repair service for in coming incidents and queries raised by clients and customers. Using your technical knowledge and strong communicationskills, you will be able to relay the solution to an offshore operative to fix any issue. Putting your electrical capabilities to the test, you may be required to go offshore to install and commission our clients product.The company provide innovative high-end engineering products and service solutions for the Global Subsea Oil & Gas and UK Rail Industries.
