Great opportunity to be involved on one of the biggest fixed offshore wind projects.Our client is a global leader in the delivery of fixed offshore wind farm projects, supporting developers to bring sustainable, renewable energy to the world through the construction of fixed offshore wind farms.Headquartered in Oslo - Norway with five further main offices in Aberdeen - UK, Leer - Germany, Vejle - Denmark, Taipei - Taiwan and Zoetermeer - the Netherlands, and furthermore a local presence in all key offshore wind regions around the world. The businessemploys more than 500 people onshore, and an offshore workforce of around 400.Are you interested in developing your experience with a global company expanding its team in AberdeenDo you have Energy sector experience as a Technical Clerk/Interface Coordinator6 month contractNeg RateROLE OVERVIEWThe Technical Clerk / Interface Coordinator performs a key role in the control and coordination of all engineering technical queries and deviation requests that exist for a given project/contract scope of work. The Technical Clerk / Interface Coordinatorwill report to the Document Control Team Lead and take direction from the Project Manager and/or Project Engineering Manager. The Technical Clerk / Interface Coordinator will also be responsible for carrying out general tasks such as logging queries, producingreports, facilitating interface meetings and may be required to perform document control tasks.Management of each project technical query/deviation request interface mailbox for internal and external transactionsEnsuring timely receipt and update of queries with associated responses (internal and external systems)Providing regular reports for queries to the project team as requiredProviding support for the production of the final Interface Report which is part of the "As-Built" compilationEnsuring queries are closed out in a timely manner and any potential issues highlighted to the Project Manager and Project Engineering Manager immediately.Establishing, in conjunction with the Project Manager, all relevant internal and external interface partnersEstablishing a single point of contact for every 3rd party companyFacilitating Interface Meetings and produce Minutes of Meeting for distribution internally and to the ClientSupporting Global Document Control Manager in training in the use of the Interface Management systemPerforming Document Control tasks when necessaryAssisting with any other duties that may be required for successful business deliveryYour experiencePrevious experience of coordinating and interfacing with engineering project teams and third parties desirableExperience of managing interfaces within a project structure, including other disciplines such as the drawing office, document control, project management, clients and suppliers is desirableDocument Control experience would be advantageous, but not mandatory.
