Job Description

We are looking for a Support Chassis Cleaner in Aberdeen!One of Britains largest bus operators, we help around 1.6 million passengers get about their local communities every day. The role is a full time position, working 38 hours per week Monday to Friday. Salary is approximately £340 per week.The main duties of the role will include, but are not limited to:

  • To clean the depot vehicles using the chassis wash equipment available.
  • To ensure the quality of cleanliness is maintained by ensuring that all cleaning and associated work is completed within the specified period, and meets the required Group Standards.
  • To ensure cleaning and engineering admin is kept up to date, in line with depot targets.
Technical Knowledge and training:
  • Use of equipment to include power washing lances to deep clean inner front suspention area of vehicles,chemical dispensing of foam to engine compartment and radiators then power wash to clean. Under chassis wash is operated by an automated machine.
  • Keeping an up to date paper record of vehicles completed.
  • Training & a site safety induction will be provided.
  • Candidates must be in the possession of, or capable of obtaining a full PCV licence and forklift truck licence if required.
