Annual salary: up to £28,600.00 Do you enjoy leading from the front Want to be part of a multimillion pound organisation that puts their employees firstMears Housing are looking for an experienced Supervisor to work within our Planned Works division in Aberdeen Dyce. The role reports directly to the Planned Contracts Manager and you will be involved with projects from the planning stage right through to completion. As part of the role you will at times compile works and obtain quotes from contractors as well as price some works yourself, so good, solid commercial awareness and I.T literacy is essential.To succeed in this role you will need to be experienced and well versed in organizing, leading, supervising and controlling the daily contract activity, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.The successful Supervisor will need to be an excellent communicator with the ability to enthuse, motivate and negotiate. Ideally you will have an experience leading a team within the Planned Works Housing sector alongside having a commitment to continuous service improvement.Mears are the UKs leading provider of repairs and maintenance services to landlords, local authorities and registered providers, delivering over 6,000 repairs every day to a portfolio of 1,000,000 homes nationwide.The successful Supervisor will need to supervise and successfully manage, on a day to day basis, the operation and delivery of planned programmes of works including minor to major extensive refurbishments.As a supervisor, you will be responsible for achieving and exceeding deadlines under pressure as well as delivering on the following objectives:
