Software Developer or Senior Software Developer - an opportunity to join a successful software house / technology consultancy. They partner with their clients and aim to use technology to help improve business processes and build great toolsto solve problems. The work is varied, and they are a quality-focused team. The company HQ is in Aberdeen, but they will support fully remote working anywhere in the UK.The team are focused on clean coding and best practice - hopefully you share their passion. They also have great company culture and are a really friendly bunch!The salary on offer is between £30,000 and £55,000 and there are good benefits on top: performance related bonus, strong pension, social events, Cycle to Work, budget for kit and professional development.Your experience should include: *Solid experience with Laravel (or similar PHP MVC framework).*Good experience with Vue (or similar JavaScript framework).*Knowledgeable in best practices and able to write clean, maintainable and scalable code.*Passionate about keeping up to date and exploring new technologies.*Advocate for Test-Driven Development.*Problem solver and out-of-the-box thinker.*Humble and collaborative.*Essential: Proficient in Git and experience working within GitHub.*Essential: Solid technical understanding of RESTful APIs.*Preferred: Experience working with multiple AWS services.*Desirable: Experience with Continuous Integration within projects.*Desirable: Knowledge of using Docker or other VM technology.*Desirable: Understanding of the concepts and implementation of GraphQL.If youre interested, please apply and/or get in touch with Rhona Kennedy at Cathcart Associates.
