Job Description

Soft LandscaperAn exciting opportunity has become available for a full-time position Soft Landscaper in Aberdeenshire. The successful candidates salary will be £8 - £13 per hour depending on experienceNormal working hours will be 7am-4.30pm Monday-Thursday and 7am-3.00pm Friday.Following an interview, successful applicants will be required to work a probationary period of 12 weeks before being offered a written contract for full-time employment.Role Requirements

  • Relevant NPTC/Lantra qualifications; preferred minimum of CS 30(201), CS 38(203) CS31(202), but not essential.
  • Knowledge of and willingness to carry out soft landscaping tasks (seeding, turfing, planting etc).
  • Hedge cutting experience is highly desirable.
  • Full UK driving licence. Trailer entitlement is desirable.
  • An understanding of pruning techniques.
  • Tree and shrub knowledge.
  • Communication and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of health & safety and safe site working practices.
  • Positive attitude and work ethic.
  • Strong ability to work as part of a team.
Role Responsibilities
  • Reporting to the Arboriculture and Soft works Manager.
  • The successful applicants will enjoy a variety of work in both the private and commercial sectors.
  • You will be working with a large variety of the companys own modern plant and equipment to complete work to an extremely high standard.
