Senior Bionformatics Research ScientistThe companyI am delighted to work with a successful and growing biopharmaceuticals company. A world leader in their industry niche, my client offer a busy and fast paced research environment in which to gain new skills and grow your career.About the roleThis position can be home based anywhere in the UK with monthly travel as required.The role is ideal for someone who has strong demonstrable experience in bioinformatics and is available for an initial 9 month FTC role in an industry environment. This role will involve genomic characterisation for bacterial strains as part of an extensive research programme. The ideal candidate will have 2 years’ + experience in microbial bioinformatics/ genome mining.Ongoing training will be provided where necessary.Required experience;
