Our client a leading Oil & Ga Operator are seeking a SCM Service Controller for a contract Role until July 2021. Position Overview Through an on-going Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system implementation (SAP S4Hana), the company has chosen to adopt Service Receipting as one of its control mechanisms in its Procure to Pay (P2P) process. This position will be responsible for working alongside the ERP project team to ensure that all Supply Chain steps are in place prior to system go live in June 2021. The project positions will report directly to the SCM Category Lead - Operations but will also have support from the wider SCM and will be for a period of up to six months. Project accountabilities include: Establish a contract prioritisation list providing focus for the Service Receipting implementation Improve utilisation of Service Masters eradicating use of free test requisitions Understand and document the business workflow from Service Entry Sheet (SES) creation through to issuance to vendor Understand and document the system workflow from Service Entry Sheet (SES) creation through to issuance to vendor Provide training and support to contract owners, requisitioners, SCM and other business users as required Implement contractual amendments where required to mandate future CTRs and Pos utilizing Product & Service Masters Agree and document the sustainability model to ensure cost efficient process post completion of project Provide weekly updates to Category Lead and Head of SCM on project progression, decision points, constraints etc Update Integrated Management System with regards to this improvement initiative Interpersonal Skills & Qualities Comfortable as a change agent working with internal and external stakeholders Ability to influence a diverse range of stakeholders Commercially and contractually aware Excellent knowledge in Contracts, Cataloguing and Procurement Systems workflows. Knowledge of Maximo and or SAP preferable Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills Self-reliant and self-directing with regard to planning and executing workload Willingness to take responsibility and challenge constructively Good training and mentoring skills Ability to structure and solve problems using initiative, imagination & resourcefulness Embraces change and continuous improvement
