We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the operations of our laid-back luxury dining restaurant located in Aberdeen. We cater to both seafood and steak lovers cooking the best produce Scotland has to offer with ourown style. The successful candidate will have a strong background managing front of house teams and must have a good knowledge of food and wine. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the restaurant, including staffsupervision, customer service, financial performance, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and excellence.Responsibilities:• Ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including managing reservations, table arrangements, and seating plans.• Supervise and train staff on our service procedures, ensuring a seamless and professional dining experience.• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality food and beverages.• Maintain impeccable cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the restaurant.• Recruit, train, and motivate a team of skilled and passionate professionals.• Set performance standards, provide ongoing feedback, and conduct regular performance evaluations.• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, creativity, and personal growth.• Organize training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the staff, focusing on service standards, wine pairing, and menu knowledge.• Ensure that guests receive personalized attention and a memorable dining experience, go the extra mile for regulars remembering preferences to ensure a special experience.• Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.• Monitor customer feedback and implement necessary improvements to exceed guest expectations.• Develop and manage the restaurant budget, ensuring profitability and cost control.• Implement effective cost-saving measures without compromising quality.• Analyse financial reports, including revenue, expenses, and inventory, and take corrective actions as needed.Experience:• Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager in a luxury fine dining establishment.• Excellent knowledge of food and beverage operations, including wine pairing and menu planning.• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.• Sound financial acumen and experience in budgeting and cost control.• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.Benefits:Competitive Salary: £32k-£35k doe, Overall package £40k+Performance Bonus: Additional £3,000-£4,000 discretional bonus based on site performance.Gratuities: Typically an additional £500pm2 days off a week2 x fully inclusive socials per yearOpportunities for ongoing career development on the job and within an exciting group
