An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic, caring and hardworking individuals to take up the role of Vaccinator Support Workers to support with the role out of the Covid 19 vaccinations within NHS Grampian.The purpose of this role is to support vaccinators with the smooth running of Covid Vaccination Clinics in Aberdeenshire North Region. This post will be based in the Banff and Buchan areas.Duties include greeting and assisting attendees to the clinics and cleaning of patient waiting areas as per Infection Prevention Control protocolsSuitable candidates should be able to work in fast paced, demanding environment and experience in a care setting would be beneficial.By joining us you will be part of a progressive team committed to diversity, excellence and achievement. Being flexible to work as the situation and service requires would be an essential aspect of this post.Time is extremely precious at the moment within the NHS, please allow us to use our time as best as we can by only applying if you meet as a minimum all of the essential elements of the person specification. You must evidence your skillset within your application.Vaccination Clinics will run between 8am – 8pm 7 days per week, and we are seeking applicants to work throughout these periods. Full time and part time positions are available with a minimum commitment of 12 hours over each two week period . So if you are interested it is likely we will be able to match our needs with times that fit your other commitments.If you are an existing NHS Grampian permanent employee and are interested in the role, please speak with your manager prior to submitting your application form with a view to having a secondment agreement agreed in principle and an ability to start immediately if you were successful following interview.The advert will close at Midnight on Sunday 17th January 2021 and interviews will take be held regularly from 29th December 2020.
