Job Description

QSHE Manager required for my client based within the oil and gas industry, located near to Aberdeen.The QSHE Manager, reporting to the Director, will have mangerial responsibility on key areas of the business. They will need to establish, maintain and impliment the integrated management systems, (IMS).QHSE Manager Position Overview

  • Manage and control all aspects of QHSE Documentation within the company.
  • Maintain IMS which conforms to the requirements of the following International and Industry Standards: ISO 9001, API Q1, API Q2, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
  • Report on a regular basis (bi-annual report to top management) on the performance of the companies IMS.
  • Promote awareness of customer, environmental and OH&S requirements throughout company.
  • Establish / support QHSE representative committee and ensure consultation and participation of workers at all levels.
  • Supervision of good inward inspectors and supervision / training of document control assistant.
  • Carry out internal audits.
  • Ensure all documentation from clients is logged and passed to relevant project managers / engineers.
  • Send reminders to relevant project managers / engineers when documents are due for submittal.
  • Attend project meetings and take minutes if required.
  • Prepare and distribute minutes of meetings to all attendees.
QHSE Manager Position Requirements
  • Previous experience as a QA / QHSE Manager
  • Lead auditor / auditor qualifications (IMS)
  • NEBOSH Certificate for H & S and or Environment
  • QA / QC Documentation experience.
  • Secondary school education.
  • Computer literate.
  • Based within a commutable distance of Aberdeen.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
QHSE Manager Position Remuneration
  • Salary - £40,000 to £60,000 - negotiable however and depending upon experience, skill and qualification.
  • Full time position.
  • Holiday package.
  • Company pension scheme.
