Job Description

Projects Manager (Fire, Safety & Security)£50,000 - £55,000 ++ DOE + 28 days holiday + pension + excellent career progressionAberdeen Are you an experienced project engineer looking to work for a growing specialist manufacturer in HVAC and Fire & safety products focused on the offshore Oil & Gas marketDo you want to support some of the worlds largest companies in delivering safety critical integrated solutions and enjoy an environment where career progression and development is encouragedYou will be providing quality support to the Product Line Director by overseeing the smooth day to day running of the Fire & Safety Offshore & Renewables Services team. Also continually review and develop processes and procedures, internal/external interfacesand employee capabilities whilst ensuring the Service Delivery team has the resources required to meet the requirements in the marketplace.You will drive compliance and continual improvement through the development and review of department targets in line with company growth strategy, with overall planning and implementation responsibility for all planned and reactive work scopes, supportedby the Technical Manager.You would also be required to manage and execute service and project delivery efficiently, safely and within agreed revenue and gross margin targets.Responsibilities:

  • Managing budgets, monitoring income and expenditure, forecasting and preparation of monthly board reports.
  • Engage with other Operations Managers to implement and continually develop the Companys goals and growth plans.
  • Lead and own resource and operational planning and implementation.
  • Preparation and issue of sales quotations.
  • Aid in the review of enquiries and the preparation of quotations.
  • Working with the Business Development team to identify and review strategies to diversify and explore other Markets and Services.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards is understood and achieved by the Projects and Services team.
  • Ensure compliance of mandatory technical and offshore training certification for service/project team resource pool

  • Good Knowledge of Fire & Safety/ Fire & Gas system design and implementation
