Job Description

RECRUITMENTiQ is working in partnership with a technology company that advances the future of energy today. Through enabling technology, we support you in bridging gaps in the industry and delivering the next generation of energy infrastructure, includingour award-winning offshore wind turbine platform adapted from proven oil and gas technology. We are also currently involved in deep-sea mineral harvesting to help support high performance battery technology.Our goal is to meet growing global energy demand through traditional sources while also identifying pathways to a lower-carbon, multi-source energy system. We provide game-changing new approaches from conception to delivery with our innovative equipment,systems, and services.Our Projects department is looking for a qualified Project Manager to join our team for some challenging and rewarding work, working a hybrid model.The RoleThe objective of this position is to ensure that projects are executed in accordance with customer expectations as a minimum and in a manner that maximizes revenue, mentoring and providing expertise to Projects Team members is also part of the role.Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and executing assigned projects with drive, focus, and management
  • Tracking project costs and planning resources.
  • Coordinating project kick-off meetings with the design team and initiating or actively participating in design reviews.
  • Providing effective liaison with the client; OSI Production and Test Teams; sub-contractors; and vendors for the duration of each project.
  • Identifying contract variations and applying the appropriate process to ensure that costs are recovered in full.
  • Monitoring quality, manufacturing, and progress off-site.
  • Leading design reviews and progress meetings.
  • Creating and compiling documentation for quality assurance and certification.
  • Concluding projects, including seminars on "Lessons Learned" and financial analysis
  • Providing after-sales support for products delivered by the project
  • Providing goods and services to customers by negotiating with suppliers.
Skills and Experience
  • Qualified to degree level, preferably in an engineering discipline with manufacturing industry experience or significant project experience preferably gained within the manufacturing or oil service industry in place of formal qualifications.
  • Proven track record of success in similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills.
