****** PROJECT ENGINEERS REQUIRED IN NORTH ENGLAND OR SCOTLAND *******LOCATION- ABERDEEN/NORTH ENGLANDDURATION- 6 MONTHS RATE - COMPETITIVEOur Client is an international electricity and gas company and one of the largest investors owned Energy companies in the world. They play a vital role in delivering gas and electricity to many millions of people across Great Britain and North-Eastern US in an efficient, reliable and safe manner.They are currently looking for a number of Project engineers with various skillsets to be responsible for delivering a number of capital projects to time, cost, and specification in accordance with the Investment Scheme Procedure and ensuring health, safety and environmental issues are managed throughout the process.Role 1 (Aberdeen, and remote desk work also) Development of FEED studies within a Gas terminal looking at the pipe arrangements and compressors and completing computer-based design work to try and establish how the site could potentially look in the future, the ideal candidate will have compression experience (preferable).Role 2 (north England and Scotland)Completing cyber upgrades on compressor sites, ideal candidates needs control systems experience or electrical controls knowledge. Duties:· Deliver projects to the highest standard of safety and environmental protection in the Construction industry. · Manage resources, processes, contracts, business procedures, and system accesses to ensure projects are delivered appropriately, safely, efficiently, economically, and on time.· Represent the Senior Project Manager on development scheme teams and ensure that all construction risks are identified and assessed and confirm (before sanction) that the scheme can be delivered in accordance with the scheme paper.· Lead a project team(s) delivering a designated element of the Gas Capital Plans to: time, cost, quality, and specification.Experience, Skills* Financial acumen* Program acumen* Contract Management/strategy management * Utilities (gas works/constructions work)* Stakeholder engagement * Able to work to strict deadlines and being proactive person.* Demonstrable experience of role applied for.* SHEA gas safety qualified (desirable) Candidates will ideally show evidence of the above in their CV in order to be considered.Please be advised if you havent heard from us within 48 hours then unfortunately your application has not been successful on this occasion, we may however keep your details on file for any suitable future vacancies and contact you accordingly.Pontoon is an employment consultancy and operates as an equal opportunitys employer.Please email me Required skills
