You will be responsible for developingexisting Oil Tool Equipment designs; either to meet specific customer requirements or the needs of the Oilfield Industry in general.What can we offer you

Your daily tasks will include:
  • To analyse and develop Product Design to meet customers or the industrys needs, having an awareness of good economic design and safety, both in manufacture and function
  • Discuss the customers requirements, to identify company products which meet these and give technical advice on the application and proper use of company products
  • Prepare technical documentation and provide the service necessary for the repair group and other departments
  • To ensure all work is undertaken in a safe manner in line with company health and safety guidelines
Requirements:
  • You must have a degree in an Engineering related subject and have previous experience of working within the oil and gas sector.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills including presentations, meetings and via written communication
  • PC skills to include, SAP/PLM, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, AutoCad, MathCad and Inventor
  • Proven experience in continuous improvement projects would be beneficial
