Process Development ChemistMoray, ScotlandCompetitive Salary + Holidays + Pension + Private Health Insurance + ProgressionAre you an experienced Chemist and looking to get involved with an exciting company that specialises in producing renewable energy from a niche and advanced processIn this role you will be responsible for the commissioning and operation of process development projects relating to the production of Biogas from Anaerobic Digestion. You will also be able to take on the responsibility for the optimisation of existing processes and trialling new technologies to help keep the company at the forefront of the industry.The ideal candidate will be coming from a similar process development position within the Anaerobic Digestion, Gas or Chemical Manufacturing industries.This is a great role for someone who loves a technically complex and varied job where they will carry a large amount of responsibility and autonomy within their field.The role:* Leading the commissioning and operation of process development projects relating to the production of Biogas* Assessing and trialling new technologies and processes* Implementation of process improvement trials* Collecting data and presenting information/training to non-scientific colleagues in an understandable way* Providing technical support and helping to resolve plant process issuesThe person:* Minimum 2:1 degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or Microbiology* Experience of working in a similar process development role* Good communication skills for presenting data clearly* Strong IT skills (Excel and Enterprise Resource Planning systems e.g GDMS)* Full UK driving licenseRise Technical Recruitment Ltd regrets to inform that our client can only accept applications from engineering candidates who have a valid legal permit or right to work in the United Kingdom.Potential candidates who do not have this right or permit, or are pending an application to obtain this right or permit should not apply Required skills
