Band 5 Advert – Medical wardWe are excited to be able to offer a 34.5 HR permanent post on the Medical Ward of the Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital. This post is suitable for a nurse who has undertaken the New graduate development programme or similar.The Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital is one of only three child focused hospitals in Scotland with fantastic facilities in a beautiful building. The medical ward is an exciting, diverse and vibrant environment that treats and cares for children from birth until around 16 years of age with a variety of conditions such as infectious diseases, asthma, diabetes, epilepsy and many other medical conditions. We are also proud to be a CCLG centre for oncology and have a strong commitment in Nurse training and continuing professional development. We are a 25 bedded unit, 10 of which are infection control cubicles with ante room. We have a further 10 non infectious cubicles.
