Job Description

Working in the modern head office of a Scotland wide market leader in their field, Aberdeen central - offering a competitive salary, private health care, 75% income protection and 31 holidays per year.£28,000 per annum, M-F full timeFor the first 3 months youll be office based for training and then have the option to move to 3 days office 2 days remote working.Duties:- Collating hours and rates to pass to the external payroll provider (180 staff)- Updating salaries and rates as per HR guidance- Reporting sickness and absence to reflect in the payroll- Ensuring smooth running of the monthly payroll by being he point of contact for the external payroll provider- Full ownership of expenses for the business: coding expenses and understanding of whats liable for VAT- Expenses are processed fortnightly- Flagging up any potential concerns relating to expense claims made by staff- Supporting the wider team with other ad-hoc duties during holidaysWhat youll come with to be considered for the role:- High volume payroll experience (doesnt need to be transactional payroll, you will not be running/processing the payroll)- Experience coding expenses and managing a high volume of business expenses- High attention to detail- Conscientious attitude- Pro-actie problem solving skills- MS Office, in particular ExcelSearch is an equal opportunities recruiter and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified applicants, regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age.
