Job Description

My client is offering a talented Occupational Therapist the opportunity to join a great team in Aberdeen. Your skills and expertise will support individuals with neurological challenges.Location: AberdeenSalary £15.90 - £23.12 p/hrBenefits: 27 days holiday, rising to 33 with length of serviceContract: Permanent, full or part timeThe duties of the Occupational Therapist:

  • Responsible for assessment of service user needs and to develop an appropriate person centred treatment programme to meet individual needs
  • To promote choice in all aspects of clinical practice reviewing and making suggestions to enhance the service user experience and enabling concerns and complaints to be raised freely by service users and their representatives
  • To liaise and communicate with other health and social care professionals and volunteers in the planning and delivery of occupational therapy
  • To ensure appropriate provision and maintenance of equipment within available resources
The required skills/experience of the Occupational Therapist:
  • Knowledge and application of OT assessments and interventions using clinical reasoning
  • An ability to confidently assess and manage risk in relation to occupational performance
  • Diploma / BSC (Hons) in Occupational Therapy
  • Current and valid Registration with Health & Care Professions Council
  • Evidence of Continued Professional Development
