Practice Education Posts.The Surgical Division is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic practitioner who is interested in developing their career in an education role in the NHS Grampian Surgical Division.The successful practitioner will assist in the delivery of training and education for all levels of staff, with a particular interest in Critical care, to supporting the development of the clinical environment and staff on the journey towards Magnet status.Currently there is a vacancy for a 15 hour part time Band 6 equivalent Practice Educator. This post will be based in the Surgical Division Practice Education team, but will also have close links to Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen University the North of Scotland Colleges and NHS Education for Scotland.You should have excellent care values and a strong sense of team spirit coupled with a sense of humour. Enthusiasm to work, learn and develop self and colleagues within the exciting and challenging high pressure environment which is Surgical Nursing. You will be dynamic and forward thinking in your approach and focused on providing safe, efficient and person centred careYou should have extensive experience as a Band 5 or above, and be educated to Degree level or equivalent. Whilst a teaching qualification would be desirable it is not required initially.
