An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HCSW to join our dynamic team in Ward 206, Aberdeen Royal Infirmary as Band 2 HCSW. This is a 33.75 hr/ week post. Shifts are day and night rotation and weekend work.We are a busy 17-bedded general surgery ward specialising in colorectal, hepatobiliary, upper gastro-intestinal and bariatric surgery. We have a focus on enhanced recovery for all patients.We are looking for a motivated & enthusiastic individual who is committed to providing a safe and effective standard of care with excellent communication and basic computer skills. The candidate should have recent experience in a healthcare setting or carer’s experience.The successful candidate must be caring, compassionate and flexible.
