Mechanical QC inspectorSalary: £25,000 - £35,000On-siteAberdeenPermanentI am working with a client who is looking to hire a Mechanical QC inspector to their dynamic and ever expanding team based in Aberdeen, with a focus on developing donhole tools and working in the Oil and Gas industry, the Mechanical QC inspector is essentialto the services they provideIf you are looking to join a busy team working within the Mechanica QC inspector team then this may be the opportunity for you, you will be performing dimensional and visual inspection of assemblies/components. (Will require sound knowledge of Faro Arm devices)Duties: Dimensionally and visually inspect small machined components and assemblies. Operate Faro Arm and other automated inspection devices. Perform detailed inspections using a variety of instruments and inspection devices. Compile inspection reports and non-conformance reports. Process concession requests and liaise with engineering and purchasing where required. Liaise with relevant departments regarding the processing of inspections.The role requires: Experienced in performing QC inspection using Faro Arm and other inspection devices. Ability to interpret mechanical engineering drawings. Experience in, and have excellent knowledge of, mechanical component inspection.
