Job Description

Mechanical FitterPermanentAberdeenA global leading Oil & Energy firm are looking for a Fitter to Service service subsea equipment such as valves and pressure containment systems. If you have a mechanical background and youd like to get into the energy industry, wed love to hear from you.Responsibilities

  • Work on Rental, Subsea and New Manufacture tooling with the following scopes, SCI, RGR, Assembly, Testing (working pressure, proof pressure and gas testing) FAT testing, EFAT testing and SIT on various tooling
  • Deal with technical issues and liaise with Planning/Engineering or supervision in resolving
  • Contribute to continuous improvements and 5s within your working area and workshop
  • Deal with technical issues and liaise with Planning/Engineering or supervision in resolving
  • Trouble shooting/Fault finding on your own or with others to perform your daily tasks
Requirements
  • Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
  • Come from a mechanical background
  • Knowledge of Subsea equipment
  • Familiar with pressure testing activities.
  • Key skills in trouble shooting/fault finding and problem solving
  • Be able to use your own initiative and be proactive in your working environment.
  • General knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office and general computer skills to suit would be advantageous.
