As a leading provider of wireless down-hole valve systems, our understanding of this technology plays a major part in our success. As part of our ongoing development of our down-hole valves the Mechanical Engineering department are looking for a driven MechanicalEngineer to join our team to design and develop downhole valve systems as part of a project team.Working within a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and technicians the primary focus of the role will be on the development and maintenance of our extensive valve systems and develop new innovative product lines.The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the design of mechanical components, products, and system design development resulting in the definition of new product solutions and improvements to existing products. This includes providing design support throughanalysing and diagnosing product related issues, understanding applications and practices, and developing valve designs from concept to production. This will involve research into novel valve manufacturing solutions. The Mechanical Engineer will also providesupport to purchasing, operations and field/offshore disciplines.Principal Duties
