Job Description

Logistics Coordinator needed- our client is a global Logistics and Shipping Company, dealing with complex freight forwarding projects. They are an established company with 45+ offices worldwide.They are looking, due to expansion, for a Logistics Coordinator to join their highly skilled and dynamic office. It is envisaged that the ideal candidate will have knowledge in the Oil and Gas Sectors.Logistics Coordinator - Position Overview

  • Receiving enquires from clients
  • Negotiating the most appropriate/cost effective way of moving goods
  • Issuing quotes to clients
  • The Collection, consolidation as appropriate, transportation and tracking of goods to designated arrival point prior to ROS date or agreed site schedule
  • The completeness and accuracy of Shipment Documentation and Files (Electronic and Hard Copy).
  • The completeness and accuracy of Customs Clearance entries in line with HMRC legislation, client instructions and Company Policies Airfreight security.
  • Ensuring accuracy of job files and estimates
  • Ensuring billing and file closing is done accurately and timeously in line with global KPIs
Logistics Coordinator - Position Requirements
  • Good Experience of International Logistics in Oil & Gas Sector (Preferable)
  • A Positive Attitude
  • An Ability to Work Consistently Under Pressure.
  • A Flexible Approach to Work
  • A Good Team Player
  • A Good Communicator, Written and Verbal (Good English, Written and Spoken)
  • Knowledge Of Incoterms
  • Good Commercial Aptitude
  • Knowledge Of HMRC Import and Export Procedures
Logistics Coordinator - Position Remuneration
  • 29 days holiday
  • Hybrid Work Policy (2 remote, 3 in office per week)
  • Salary £29,000 to £30,000
  • Working Hours 8-5 Mon/Thu, 8-4 Fri
