The Unscheduled Care Service at Royal Cornhill Hospital is looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced RMN who is committed to promoting patient focused care and treatment. Interested candidates should have relevant experience working in a mental health setting. Part time/Job Share may be considered.The Unscheduled Care Service provides an urgent psychiatric assessment and intervention service over a 24 hour period, 7 days per week. Due to the nature of the work a broad generic knowledge of mental illness as well as the ability to maintain and develop more specialist interest is welcomed. As a member of the team you will be expected to provide full psychiatric assessment of patients mental health needs and a range of short term psychosocial and pharmacological treatments / interventions for patients who are referred from a variety of sources. You will be required to make decisions, based on an analysis of presenting problems and judgment about available options.
