Following the retiral of the current post holder, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Dietitian to lead the Dietetics Service in Mental Health & Learning Disabilities. The role will provide operational management and professional leadership for the Dietetic Service in Royal Cornhill Hospital and professional leadership for the CAMHS Dietitian and the Community Learning Disability Dietitians. The Dietetic service currently has 11 staff who are a highly experienced, innovative, flexible and supportive team.The post holder will work alongside other Allied Health Professional Leads, including Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech and Language Therapy as part of the AHP Leadership team for the MHLDS and will be accountable to the Allied Health Professional Lead. The successful candidate will also be required to work closely with a wide range of other professionals from health and other agencies.Applicants must be a qualified, HCPC registered Dietitian, with significant professional experience in mental health and/or learning disabilities, as well as having a management qualification or equivalent experience.
