Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates or from those about to qualify in September this year, for this full time, permanent Band 7/8A post in the Psychology Service for Adults with a Learning Disability.This post is to provide a highly specialist psychology service to people with a learning disability in Aberdeen City and to support the work of the multidisciplinary and multiagency teams with such cases. The post holder will be based at Elmwood/Len Ironside Centre with flexibility to accommodate new ways of working remotely.There are 6 other qualified staff working in this service. There are close links with the D Clin Psych/ Edinburgh University and the service routinely provides core and specialist placements for trainees completing this course. The service actively supports practitioners’ clinical and research interests.
