Job Description

We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Tax person to join our energy and natural resources team based in Aberdeen. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling tax-related issues, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.Client DetailsOur client is a leading name in the oilfield services, with a significant presence in Aberdeen.   • Manage tax compliance and reporting processes
  • Conduct tax audits and investigations
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations
  • Advise on tax implications of business decisions
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants
  • Assist in the development of tax strategies
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of tax returns
  • Identify potential tax risks and develop mitigation strategies
ProfileA successful Assistant Tax Manager should have:
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, CPA, etc) is mandatory
  • Proven experience in tax (minimum 5 years)
  • In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
