Job Description

Reed Finance are delighted to be supporting one of our fantastic clients in the recruitment of their next Group Accountant.Reporting into the Director of Finance, the successful candidate will have full responsibility for a group of companies, to provide high quality financial information and provide in-depth technical support to the group. Acting as a key business partner,you will be responsible for supporting growth and commercial success for the group.My client is keen to engage with a fully qualified accountant, to join their experienced finance function and shares the values of the organisation.Key Duties

  • Responsible for full financial management for a group of companies, including accounts preparation, annual accounts, budgeting & forecasting and in-depth financial analysis
  • Preparing financial projections to support with long term business plans
  • Presenting to the board meetings, providing in-depth technical advise and managing financial requests
  • Supporting cashflow and quarterly projections
  • Responsible for payroll management
  • Preparing financial projections and providing modelling schemes
  • Working with key stakeholders and liaising with non-finance management, developing strong working relationships
Candidate
  • Chartered Accountant – Essential
  • Advanced Excel – Essential
  • Strong technical skills & knowledge of accounting standards and UKGAAP
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
