Job Description

DENBURN MEDICAL PRACTICEGP Vacancies – Applicants must be registered with the GMCTime for a change .........They say change is as good as a holiday and it is all about change here at Denburn Medical Practice.With a new team of GP & ANP partners we are looking to bring onboard like-minded colleagues who enjoy working hard and having fun as part of a team. We are open to bespoke posts and anyone with a specialist interest that could add to the melting pot of skills we have already in our team and our dual site practice of circa 17,900 patients. The practice is big enough to allow both flexibility and variety and we welcome all interested parties to get in touch in complete confidence either in person or virtually. On that note we are also interested in colleagues who may wish to work all or part of their working week on a remote basis.Why join our Team (Innovation and advancement)“The new normal is our normal, normal”:

  • The first Practice in Grampian to utilise ANPs in extended roles, such as home visiting as early as 2010;
  • The first and until the recent mass adoption during the COVID pandemic; the only Practice to operate a total triage model of care based on the Doctor First system since 2012;
  • Early adopters of Near Me video consultation and currently a Super User of the platform;
  • The first to establish a remote working cohort of clinicians who are based in Moray. This initial cohort of staff is shortly to be expanded;
  • Have recently implemented the eConsult Platform with high patient uptake.;
  • Work in physically distanced Hubs with other Clinicians. Denburn clinicians have worked predominately in a triage hub since 2012.
  • Have access to a mentorship programme for newly qualified GPs;
  • Use of electronic equipment to work remotely and at a distance to protect staff;
  • Text messaging functionality between Clinicians and patients;
  • Remote long term chronic disease reviews via eConsult and Near Me;

  • Dynamic, motivated and enthusiastic individuals who are able to embrace change
  • GP(s) for 4 to 8 sessions; recently qualified GPs are welcome to apply. We have a robust in-house induction programme and strong and supportive training ethos within the Practice.
