Job Description

The Global Head of Strategic Sales has a remit to prospect and convert high value, multi-country solution sales which add significant depth and value to our sales pipeline, supporting our ambitious growth agenda and market presence. The role also has responsibilityfor providing strategic input to our global growth plans using market and competitor insights, while also supporting with our marketing and brand awareness campaigns.Client DetailsFrom their entrepreneurial origins as a founder led start up, to a high performing global player working with some of the worlds most recognisable brands, my client has both a fantastic history and masses of future potential.Their story began in 2001, when their founder and former CEO saw a gap in the market to support the oil and gas industry. Today, they are a leading global professional service organisation, providing integrated global and domestic payroll solutions, expatriatetaxation services, global HR services and online HR people management tools to over 1,200 companies in more than 150 countries worldwide.DescriptionThe key responsibilities are as follows.

  • Responsible for generating opportunities, qualifying prospective global customers and identifying areas in which we can provide value
  • Providing strategic guidance to customers by understanding all aspects of their business, existing and future systems, environment and needs, assisting in identifying the right solutions with the necessary stakeholders
  • Taking an active role in meeting with potential customers to demonstrate products and services, developing presentations and marketing materials as required
  • Interfacing with partners during the sales cycle, you will work to clarify scope, capture specific customer requirements, develop solutions and establish robust costs
  • Working collaboratively with stakeholders across operations, commercial & contracts and tech, making sure we are responding to the needs of the customer with pace
  • Supporting broader development activities, marketing, profile and brand building and relationship management initiatives, youll have a wide remit to influence and facilitate our sales positioning
ProfileAs follows.
  • Be an engaging and persuasive new business developer, with a proven track record in delivering significant YOY sales growth
  • Have demonstrated ability to successfully drive and manage complex deals through the full sales cycle, including product demonstration
  • Be motivated to hunt for new opportunities, with excellent skills in prospecting and validating leads
  • Be resourceful and tenacious, able to navigate and map potential customer structures and identify critical decision makers
  • Ideally have a background in payroll, HCM, HRIS or other adjacent sector
  • Credible and commercial, youll be adept at combining technical knowledge with consultative selling experience and use this to fully understand the customer needs and deliver a solution that truly provides value add
  • Exceptional with people skills, supportive, influential and diplomatic, for working with a range of colleagues and customers
  • Have good business sense and a full understanding of commercial considerations
