Care to join us Then come reach your full potential at QuarriersDo you have a passion for people and care about helping others live fulfilling lives We are looking for a caring individual who share Quarriers values.Quarriers Aberdeenshire Carers Service operates out of Inverurie office, Aberdeenshire and supports carers across the whole of Aberdeenshire.Quarriers have Investors in People Platinum accreditation and are one of only two social care organisations in Scotland to have this prestigious award. We also pay sleepover hours at £9.30 per hour.An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Temporary Family Wellbeing worker 37 hours until 31st December 2021.The successful candidate will assist in the provision of support to unpaid carers to enable carers to complete adult carers Support plans and young carers statements. SVQ2 social care qualification or similar evidence within social care, education, community development or childcare, is essential.The successful candidate has a number of key objectives and accountabilities including:

  • Assist in the promotion of physical & emotional wellbeing and general health of service users building on their feelings of security, responsibility and worth.Contribute to the planning, reporting and reviewing of the individual’s person centred, outcome based support plan. Completing daily recording & summaries as required.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of professional and caring relationships between staff and service users in pursuit of service users personal development.
  • Please note that IT skills are required for all Quarriers vacancies.It is essential for this role that you have a full drivers licence and access to own transport.Where applicable, successful candidates will be required to register with the SSSC within 6 months of start date.At Quarriers our staff are our most important asset therefore we offer extensive training and impressive learning and development opportunities.
