Job Description

Engineer (Fire, Safety & Security)£40,000 - £45,000 + extensive overtime available + premium call out bonus + excellent OTE + 28 days holiday + pension + excellent career progression***Relocation Package Available***Aberdeen Are you an experienced fire & safety engineer looking to work for a growing specialist manufacturer in HVAC and Fire & safety products focused on the offshore Oil & Gas marketDo you want to support some of the worlds largest companies in delivering safety critical integrated solutions and enjoy an environment where career progression and development is encouragedThe Fire & Security Engineer will be responsible for undertaking work at customer sites on fire/security and other specialist systems. You will be expected to carry out work in accordance with work schedules and targets in a manner consistent with standardworking practices. The successful applicant will be expected to participate in the standby / call-out rota.Responsibilities:

  • Installing and maintaining systems to recognised industry standards and regulations.
  • Carry out site surveys and compile asset registers as required.
  • The scope of work can include installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance/service, handover and user training of the following types of system as required:
    • Fire
    • Intruder
    • CCTV
    • Access Control
    • Other related services
  • Ensure company records are completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner in accordance with standard procedures.
  • Ensure test equipment is made available for calibration and certification where appropriate.
The person:
  • Good Knowledge of Fire & Safety system installation and testing
